Lead Provider
Dr. Tabetha Ratliff, MD is a board-certified family medicine physician with a clinical focus on patients living with complex, chronic, and often misunderstood medical conditions. Originally from Ohio, she has lived and trained across both the East Coast and West Coast, experiences that shaped her understanding of how access to care—and quality of care—can vary widely depending on geography and healthcare systems.
Dr. Ratliff has a longstanding commitment to serving underserved communities, with particular attention to women’s health and individuals navigating multi-system conditions such as hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (hEDS), dysautonomia, MCAS, and related disorders. Prior to her medical career, she spent years navigating unexplained symptoms and experiencing dismissal within the healthcare system—an experience shared by many of the patients she now serves.
It was later, through medical training and clinical practice, that Dr. Ratliff was able to better understand and contextualize her own health history, including a diagnosis of hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and associated conditions. This lived experience informs her approach to care, reinforcing the importance of careful listening, validation, and thoughtful, individualized evaluation.
At Connective Care Family Practice, Dr. Ratliff provides physician-led, collaborative care designed for patients who often require longer visits, deeper clinical synthesis, and a whole-person approach. Her work is guided by compassion, partnership, and the belief that high-quality medical care must honor both clinical expertise and patient experience.
